The China National Intellectual Property Administration recently identified 80 typical cases of the second batch of agri-products with geographical indications to help rural revitalization. Among them, Haikou Volcano Litchi was selected. Through government support, standard setting, and brand promotion, Haikou City has made Haikou Volcan Litchi a local "cash cow," to increase farmers' income.
