Haikou promotes family trip experiences
A new promotional campaign has kicked off, highlighting the wealth of family trip experiences on offer in Haikou.
The launch event, in Haikou Bay on 26 July, showed off tourism itineraries – helped by 30 anchors taking to the internet for live broadcasts, to showcase the beauty of this tropical destination. It was organised by the Haikou Municipal Bureau of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports.
Haikou’s attractions include a 19.6-kilometre, high-quality coastline connecting Ever Green Park, Century Park, the Bell Tower, the Arcade Streets and other urban landmarks. Haikou Bay has become an urban, cultural business centre, integrating tourism and leisure offerings. It is a must-see place for both residents and visitors.
During the promotional launch, two travel itineraries were highlighted in detail, giving lots of information and inspiration for discovering and exploring Haikou’s scenic spots as a family.
The 30 anchors broadcast live on the internet simultaneously and presented Haikou from a young people’s perspective, including through the gameplay of Haikou feature.
It was an opportunity to present Hainan’s coastal capital in a fun and exciting way, with prizes on offer. The gameplay brought the destination to life and created a circle of “online driving offline” activity.
The interactive element, combined with the beautiful backdrop of Haikou Bay – featuring seductive waters and a captivating coastline – is expected to help bring even more visitors to Haikou during the summer season, according to the Haikou Municipal Bureau of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports.
