Right opposite Holiday Beach in Haikou, it is one of the many top-class sporting facilities on Hainan Island and offers uninterrupted views of the city and the South China Sea.

It has 18 holes, with wide, flat fairways, framed by beautiful flowers on both sides of the course and surrounded by beautiful scenery. A place where you can feel like a champion.

The fairways are defined by undulating heights. Each hole has been designed and created following the lines of the natural terrain. The course incorporates bunkers and water features create a need for strategic play, testing players of all levels and abilities. Come and try your luck. 

In terms of difficulty, the seventh is ranked as the most challenging for those putting their skills to the test. The 5th and 11th are the longest, par 5 holes. You will not be bored with this course, there is lots to keep you on the ball.

With the sea nearby, you will feel like you are playing on the beach. Well, you almost are, being in such a fantastic tropical location next to the coast.

If you don’t fancy 18 holes, you can also hone your skills on the driving range. The West Coast Golf Club is home to the biggest facility of its kind in Hainan. You will find two tiers of driving range, with 60 practice tees in all.

Not visit to a golf course is complete without a visit to the clubhouse. The one here is impressive, stretching across 5,000 square metres. You will also find a restaurant serving delicious Chinese and Western cuisine, a chance to top up your energy after a good round of golf.
