Qiongtai Fudi (Felicitous Place) now is in Qiongshan District, Haikou. Qiongtai, the ancient Qiongzhou government office, was first built in the Song Dynasty (960-1279 CE).

The Qiongtai Fudi memorial archway constructed in the southern mountain in the first year of the Yongle, Ming Dynasty no longer existed, and in 1999, the government carried out a full-scale reconstruction on the former site.

Currently, the architecture of Qiongtai Fudi is neatly situated, richly ornamented, and with ancient beauty and grand scale. It is not only a place for the appreciation of architecture, but also for recreation and gathering of the man of letters, and for tourists to find felicity.
