The East Coast of Haikou, located in Jiangdong New Area, boasts a 20-kilometer-long coastline stretching from the mouth of the Nandu River to the Haiwen Bridge on Jiangdong Avenue. This area connects with the Dongzhai Harbour National Nature Reserve and the Puqian Bay in Wenchang County. It is Haikou's only pristine coastline, offering splendid views of soft white sandy beaches, bay wetlands, and extensive coastal protection forests planted with Casuarina equisetifolia.
