Water Spinach has many fibrous roots and extremely short stems. The leaves are irregular, and long elliptical in shape. The floating leaves are wide and lanceolate or long oval in shape. They are leathery and have a deep and glossy color. At present, it is only distributed in the Yangshan area of Haikou in China.
