On 5th March, Haikou Meilan International Airport (hereinafter referred to as Meilan Airport) successfully opened the Incheon - Haikou - Singapore cargo freight route, which is the first round-trip cargo freight route connecting Southeast Asia to Northeast Asia opened by Meilan Airport in 2024. It is also the third fifth rights cargo freight route opened after Haikou - Singapore - Jakarta and Incheon - Haikou - Kuala Lumpur, further enhancing the coverage of Hainan Free Trade Port's cargo freight route networks.
