National level II protected animal: Chestnut Headed Bee Eater
The Chestnut Headed Bee Eater has a chestnut colored band on its throat, an elegant posture, an elongated central tail feather, black eye lines, and blue thin edges on both sides. The head and upper back are green, the waist and tail are blue, and the chin is yellow. The abdomen is light green, sometimes dyed yellow. When flying, orange yellow colour can be seen below the plumage.
